Sustainable production and consumption means using, disposing and transforming resources in a way that minimizes harm to the environment while supporting the well being of people.

This site contains a growing compendium of instruments that governments at all levels are using to influence and change what we produce and consume. The electronic conferences are broadening the dialogue among researchers, bureaucrats and citizens about how to change the way we work and live.
