A more comprehensive submission is being prepared and circulated to members of NGOs and in particular members of the BCEN International Affairs caucus. This draft has some specific suggestion for the Canadian government on ways to fulfill obligations undertaken through the UNCED.
The final report will be entitled Beyond Rhetoric to Action: What Would Constitute Compliance. This report will be submitted to the Commission on Sustainable Development as an ENGO contribution to the fifth year review of the UNCED.
