Strategy for Achieving Transformative Change
Better living for all—sustainably

The 2010–2011 IISD Annual Report highlights the Institute’s efforts over the past year to operationalize its strategic plan to achieve results through transformative change. The report takes a detailed look at the Institute’s five-year strategic plan including details on its 12 themes and 28 goals. This is followed by an article on each of the themes and the progress made in the past year for a selection of goals within each theme. The report also includes: a piece on the progress of the Great Transition Initiative (GTI) by guest author Paul Raskin, President of the Tellus Institute and Director of the GTI; the changing face of funding; the Institute’s strategy to reduce its carbon emissions; our funders by strategic plan theme; and our financial performance for the year ending March 31, 2011.
