SDplanNet-Asia and Pacific

SDplanNet-Asia & Pacific is a new and growing network of government and non-government practitioners in Asia and the Pacific who share innovative approaches and tools for integrating sustainable development principles into government development plans, strategies and budgets.

Through its interactive website, http://www.SDplanNet-AP.org, the network hosts online learning events, provides members with regular updates on sustainable development planning tools used within the region and around the world, and enables members to blog and exchange ideas on relevant topics.

The network's inaugural meeting was held September 16 to 18, 2009, in Bangkok, and convened three sessions:

SDplanNet-AP is coordinated by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies in Bangkok and managed by IISD.
