Encouraging a Triple Dividend in Agriculture: Increased food security, improved adaptive capacity and reduced emissions

Actions in the agriculture sector have the potential to produce a triple win for developing countries by increasing food security, enhancing resiliency to climate change and reducing emissions.

As part of IISD's Food Security and Climate Change Initiative, this report introduces the key elements of the triple dividend and identifies options for generating adaptation, mitigation and food security benefits from agriculture practices. It also highlights critical issues in furthering the achievement of the triple dividend.
