In keeping with our Mission to "Provide diverse and comprehensive programming in a safe and caring environment to prepare all students to be responsible citizens in a democratic society," the St. James-Assiniboia School Division School Board has implemented an exciting and innovative program which examines sustainable living with a global perspective in mind. The Get Started Sustainable Development Education resource package will: encourage classroom teachers to explore the concept of sustainable development education, incorporate this idea into lesson plans, make global citizenship a part of the daily lives of our students.
