Luke Eric Peterson
Luke is the Editorial Director of Investment Treaty News. He is a reporter and consultant specializing in investigation and analysis of international legal disputes arising between multinational companies and sovereign governments. Luke has written for various specialized and mainstream media publications in Canada, the US and the UK. As a consultant he has worked on IISD trade and investment policy research projects, and has undertaken research for other think-tanks and non-governmental organizations. Luke also investigates international arbitrations for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Damon Vis-Dunbar
Damon is a reporter for IISD's Investment Treaty News. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Damon recently completed his Masters in Journalism (MJ) at Carleton University with a speciality in business journalism. Damon has produced stories for several newspapers and broadcasters, including CBC television in Ottawa. He holds a BA from Simon Fraser University with a major in Communications and a minor in English Literature. As a member of SFU's NewsWatch Canada, Damon conducted research on media ownership and its effect on content.
Fernando Cabrera Diaz
Fernando is a researcher/reporter for ITN. He is a recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario?s law school. While there he concentrated his studies on international law; he also spent a semester on exchange at ESADE University in Barcelona where he focused on international trade law. After law school, Fernando worked in the field of immigration and refugee law for a law firm in Toronto, Ontario.
Bonnie R. Penfold
Bonnie is a free-lance contributor to IISD's Investment Treaty News. A graduate of Queen's University and the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, Bonnie has experience working in the commercial arbitration department of a major international law firm, as well as with the International Labour Organization's Multinational Enterprises Department.
Trineesh Biswas
Trineesh worked as a staff writer for the Investment Treaty News in 2003-2004 based in IISD's Geneva offices. A native of Toronto and New Delhi, he is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Toronto. Biswas now works as the Editor of the Bridges Weekly Trade News Digest, an electronic news publication dedicated to tracking the world trading system.
Fiona Marshall
Fiona is a law graduate of the University of Auckland. She is a Geneva-based consultant and lawyer.
