You and Sustainable Development

The momentum for sustainable development grew from the work of the World Commission on Environment and Development that was headed by Gro Brundtland the Prime Minister of Norway. From 1983-I987 the Commission conducted public hearings throughout the world, from Brazil to Mexico, Zimbabwe to China, to review the concept of sustainability. The Commissioners concluded in their unanimous report that our common future depends on sustainable development.
