Community sketch map from Zimbabwe

The Gwanda sketch map was instrumental in helping to define an important adaptive strategy - the Milanga system relating to management of common grazing resources. The map could be improved by the addition of a rough scale, a small inset relating to Zimbabwe, a textual commentary and an indication of where the transect walk took place, and most importantly, where the Milanga are situated.
