LEM profile LEM (The Environment and Development Society of Ethiopia) was set up in 1992. It is a membership organization, registered as a NGO with the Ethiopian government. Its main objective is to influence policy decision through advocacy in favor of sustainable livelihoods. It is involved in creating more habitable environments, e.g. clean-up activities, programs implemented by communities and publication of awareness creating information bulletins.
