Writer/Editor Earth Negotiations Bulletin
Liz Willetts is an enthusiastic biologist merging the fields of medicine and environmental policy. She currently works in a rural Guatemalan hospital, does public health research and travels the globe following environmental negotiations as an Earth Negotiations Bulletin writer and editor. The integration of public health objectives into environmental negotiations is her particular area of policy interest. Liz has worked for IUCN’s Ecosystem Management, IISD’s Climate and Energy, and the Union of Concerned Scientists Food & Agriculture programs, and as a community development coordinator in nutrition and sustainable urban agriculture. Her master’s thesis explored ecosystem services. Liz loves to start the day off with a good run and brings running shoes wherever she goes.
