Dan Birchall joined the ENB team in 2004 with a background in information technology, and serves as a Digital Editor and sometimes writer at meetings on oceans, forests and other areas of interest. A published writer and photographer, he holds a graduate certificate of science from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. His hobbies include cycling, hiking, skindiving, and traveling with his wife.
