Noelle Eckley Selin


Noelle Eckley Selin is a PhD student in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University, where she models the atmospheric transport of mercury and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) as part of the Atmospheric Chemistry Modeling Group. Her previous research has focused on the role of science in international negotiations on POPs. Before returning to graduate school in 2002, she worked with the Initiative on Science and Technology for Sustainability at Harvard University, and was a visiting Fulbright researcher at the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has also worked on chemicals issues with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. She has a B.A. in Environmental Science and Public Policy and an M.A. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Harvard University.
