Christopher Beaton
» Research Analyst/Communications OfficerChristopher Beaton is a Research Analyst and Communications Officer. He performs policy research on various projects within the trade and climate change domains, as well as supporting our Global Subsidies Initiative communications work, managing the GSI website and acting as editor for the monthly e-newsletter Subsidy Watch.
Chris received a Master’s degree in International Relations in 2009, having worked as an intern at IISD between June and August, 2008. Prior to commencing his work in this field, Chris was a lecturer at Stevenson College in Edinburgh, teaching English and Communication.
