Kieran Clarke

Kieran Clarke

Research Officer

Prior to joining IISD in 2013, Kieran Clarke worked in a number of positions in energy and climate change policy for the Australian Federal Department of Resources and Energy, latterly as Senior International Energy Advisor, managing global energy market analysis and Australia’s energy-related engagements with major multilateral fora. Kieran has also worked for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France, assisting the management of the International Energy Agency’s India Outreach Program, which collaborated with and advised the Government of India on a range energy policy issues. Kieran has undertaken consultancies for the Earth Institute in New York on climate change adaptation in Nigeria, and for the Government of Ghana’s Ministry of Environment. He recently completed a dual-degree Master of Public Administration (2012) at Sciences Po, Paris and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
