Craig Emmerton

Post Doctoral Fellow, IISD-ELA

Craig Emmerton is a Post Doctoral Fellow at IISD Experimental Lakes Area (IISD-ELA). Craig has over 10 years of environmental science research experience and over five years of government, consulting and industry experience as an environmental scientist. Craig has studied greenhouse gas emissions from experimental reservoirs, the cycling of the contaminant mercury in a Boreal ecosystem, the movement and chemistry of water in Canada’s largest Arctic delta and climate change impacts on Canadian high Arctic landscapes. His government, consulting and industry experience has given him a solid background in policy development, environmental monitoring, client services, data management and community outreach. Craig is a co-author of several published research papers, and is an invited reviewer of several peer-reviewed journals.
