Hal Kane has consulted and written for dozens of sustainable zevelopment NGOs and foundations, beginning a long time ago by publishing an 80-page summary of the Brundtland Report. He co-launched the annual Vital Signs book (W.W. Norton & Co.) at the Worldwatch Institute, and has published a handful of other books and many articles about sustainable development, hunger, refugee issues, and environmental economics, and spoken often on the radio, TV, and at universities and conferences around the world.
