Sarah Stewart Johnson, Ph.D.


Sarah Stewart Johnson is currently a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows. In 2008, she earned a PhD from the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at MIT, where her dissertation focused on the evolution of the early Martian atmosphere. In addition, she holds a degree from Washington University in St. Louis and two degrees from Oxford. She's done environmental fieldwork in Costa Rica and Madagascar and planetary science/biology research in Western Australia, Antarctica and at the summit of Mauna Kea.
