In the past TKN has worked with researchers from the following organizations:

  • Cambodian Development Research Institute (CDRI)—Cambodia
    The Cambodian Development Research Institute (CDRI) is an independent development policy research institute whose mission is to contribute to Cambodia’s sustainable development and the well-being of its people through the generation of high quality policy-relevant development research, knowledge dissemination and capacity building. The Institute works to achieve this mission in partnership with Cambodian public institutions, civil society and their regional and international development partners.

  • Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM)—Vietnam
    The Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) is a national institute under the direct authority of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. It has the functions of undertaking research and putting forward proposals and recommendations concerning economic regulations and institutions, policies, planning and management mechanisms.

  • Habibie Center—Indonesia
    The Habibie Center was established by the former Indonesian President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie and his family as an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization. It has a vision of modernizing and democratizing Indonesia, based on morality and cultural integrity as well as on religious values.

  • Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI)—Indonesia
    The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), a national think tank for the Indonesian government, has existed since the late 1960s. It has the tasks of guiding the development of technology and the sciences in Indonesia so as to benefit the population of the country. It also aims to search for scientific truth that recognizes the freedom of research in line with the state ideology of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

  • National Economic Research Institute (NERI)—Lao PDR
    The National Economic Research Institute (NERI) is a research institute and an inter-ministerial body based in Vientiane, Lao PDR. NERI is a governmental think tank under the Committee for Planning and Cooperation (CPC) of Lao PDR.

  • Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA)—Singapore
    The Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) is an independent organization dedicated to the research, analysis and discussion of regional and international issues. A leading institution for policy-relevant research, the SIIA was recently ranked one of the top 15 think tanks in Asia. As a founding member of the ASEAN-Institutes for Strategic and International Studies (ASEAN-ISIS) network, SIIA works with partner think tanks to organize regional and international dialogues and share the resultant research and analysis with politicians, policy-makers, business leaders and opinion leaders, through our network and the media. Founded in 1961, SIIA is Singapore’s oldest think tank.
