  • Ambiente, Comercio y Desarrollo (ACD Consulting)—Ecuador
    ACD Consulting is a firm aimed at providing global consultancy solutions for the Latin American region, relating current challenges of international trade openness to business competitiveness, environmental protection and the satisfaction of social and developmental needs.

  • Centro de Energía y Desarrollo Sustentable de la Universidad Diego Portales (CEDS)—Chile
    The University of Diego Portales created the Centre for Energy and Sustainable Development (CEDS) with the aim of developing a long-term strategy for sustainable energy policies in Chile. The Centre focuses its activities and research on the following themes: climate change, peak oil, environmental demands of international markets, and technological innovation.

  • Centro de Estudos de Integração e Desenvolvimento (CINDES)—Brazil
    The Centre for the Study of Integration and Development (CINDES) is the coordinator of TKN’s South American program. CINDES was created in 2006 with the overarching aim of contributing to the debate on the relations between integration and development. The Centre is dedicated to the coordination of studies and the promotion of debates on international integration and sustainable development; globalization, inequality and poverty; integration of public policies; and regulations and trade negotiations. CINDES works with a network of national and international organizations and experts in these areas to develop research and studies, to organize workshops and seminars and to disseminate information about integration and social and economic development.

  • Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, , Económicas, Políticas y Antropológicas (CISEPA)—Peru
    The Centre for Social, Economic, Political and Anthropological Research (CISEPA) was founded in 1966 by the Catholic University of Peru with the aim of pursuing theoretical and applied research. Its objectives are to support academic training in the disciplines of sociology, economics, politics and anthropology. This is done in two ways: by involving students in advanced research and by incorporating the results of the research into teaching.

  • Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET)—Argentina
    The National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) is dedicated to promoting science and technology research in Argentina. Its work is divided into four main areas: Agriculture, Engineering and Materials; Biology and Health; Exact Sciences; and Social Sciences and Humanities.
