Nancy Nash

Nancy Nash is International Coordinator of Buddhist Perception of Nature, A New Perspective for Conservation Education, a non-governmental environmental organization based in Hong Kong which was conferred the Rolex Award for Enterprise after being founded in 1987. Throughout her career, Ms. Nash has linked diplomatic and environmental high level initiatives, assisting such global organizations as the United Nations and the World Wildlife Fund International. In 1993, the United Nations Environment Programme named her as a UNEP Global 500 Laureate.

Ms. Nash is a Founding Member and Advisor of Earth Ethics Research Group, an Advisor of Gallup International Institute, and Hong Kong Coordinator of the Global Network on Responsibilities to Future Generations. She was originator of a successful proposal to Chinese authorities for their participation in international treaties for wildlife protection, and chief negotiator for the World Wildlife Fund Giant Panda Conservation programme. She is a consultant for the World Conservation Strategy based in Switzerland. In addition, Ms. Nash has served as a guest speaker or assembly member at over 100 international conferences.
