Georges Leclere

Georges Leclere is an international journalist, producer and communications specialist who from 1986 through 1993, served as Director of Radio and TV for the United Nations. Previous to that, he worked in radio and television news around the world - in Lebanon, where among other duties he anchored the 1968 Mexico Olympics on Lebanese TV, and in France, where during the 1970s, he worked as an on-camera journalist and international co-producer and built the Sciences department of the evening news of ANTENNE 2.

After many years at the United Nations, Mr. Leclere left in 1993 to join the European Bank in London. Upon his return to New York he began work on a number of TV projects, including one for the UN mission to Somalia.
