Hazel Henderson is an independent futurist, author, lecturer, television producer/moderator and consultant on alternative development in over 30 countries. She has published articles in over 200 journals and authored three books. Her newest work, Paradigms in Progress: Life Beyond Economics, proposes that the form of the new world order is apparent in the pragmatic, ethical and creative solutions people are applying to economic and environmental issues from the personal to the global. Hazel Henderson has been a Regents Lecturer at the University of California (Santa Barbara) and held the Horace Albright Chair in Conservation at the University of California (Berkeley). She has served on the U.S. Congress Office of Technology Assessment Advisory Council and is a Special Limited Partner of the Global Environment Fund.
