Brief Description

This Centre has been functioning for eight years and serves as a model in the Caribbean for effective strategies to educate and sensitize the population about violence in order to prevent and reduce it. The Centre provides counselling and services for the victims of violence. It has shown an understanding of the broader issues and teaches conflict resolution skills. With a staff of seven, a volunteer corps of 140, the Centre reaches 200 students a month with its strategies of outreach in schools across Trinidad.
