Brief Description
In a country experiencing one of the highest rates of AIDS in the world, the Commission provides a platform for communities and NGOs to plan and meet the needs of those afflicted with AIDS. It provides care to orphans and raises awareness of the plight of AIDS victims and their families. Even with the growing needs and rising numbers of persons with AIDS, the Commission struggles to maintain care, trust and the integrity of the extended family. It is pragmatic and effective in dealing with a problem that is affecting communities and hundreds of thousands of families.
