Brief Description
Auroville is a unique intentional community (ashram) with over 25 years of experience in bringing together residents from more than 26 countries. Auroville residents work together to seek personal enlightenment, ecological and economic sustainablity and community peace. They are involved in land regeneration through biological farming and agroforestry, and in renewable energy and appropriate technology. The community has a strong spiritual foundation and belief in the practice of yoga.
