Brief Description
Clean Islands International has been working with Atlantic island communities of North America and the Caribbean for the past four years. Educators, environmentalists and waste industry experts volunteer to provide educational and technical assistance to communities for the preservation and beautification of indigenous natural environments, cultivating environmental awareness and implementing sustainable waste practices. Students developed the "Share Our Care, Be Aware" project which partnered schools in an international exchange of social and environmental information.
